About Us
Southwest Indiana Law Enforcement Training Council is dedicated to providing high-quality and comprehensive training for local law enforcement officers. Our mission is to ensure officers receive the best training to effectively serve and protect our communities. We are committed to excellence and continuous improvement in law enforcement training. The main goal of SILETC is to provide training to member agencies, that individual agencies could not afford on their own.
Every department on the council has a say in what training we provide, and for much of the training, we circulate our instructors between departments to share knowledge and foster inter-departmental consistency.
